Spurs overturned a 2-0 deficit to beat Dnipro 3-2, joining some of the most exhilarating comebacks in European history

Arsenal head into next their Champions League last-16 second leg with the mammoth task of trying to overturn a 2-0 deficit against the reigning champions Bayern Munich. Likewise, Manchester City must overcome the same scoreline against Barcelona, and also Manchester United, who also trail Olympiakos by two goals.
However, they can all turn to their Premier League rivals and take inspiration from Tottenham, who looked to be crashing out of the Europa League when they trailed – you guessed it – 2-0 on aggregate to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
But a quick-fire three goals in 13 minutes saw Spurs overturn the deficit and progress to the last-16, and the performance joined the ranks of some exhilarating comebacks to have occurred in European football.
