Jurgen Klopp has named an unchanged team for the first time since becoming Liverpool manager.

It means that Daniel Sturridge continues in attack as Liverpool take on Augsburg in the first-leg of their last-32 Europa League tie.

The England striker has only recently returned to fitness and upon his first Premier League start of the year at the weekend, opened the scoring in what would be a 6-0 rout of Aston Villa.

He is joined in attack by Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho.

Liverpool will be hoping to progress in this season's Europa League knowing that a place in next season's Champions League will go to the winner's of the competition.

Opponents Augsburg are making their first ever appearance in the knock-out stage of the Europa League.

LIVERPOOL TEAM: Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Sakho, Moreno, Henderson, Can, Milner, Coutinho, Firmino, Sturridge.

Subs: Ward, Randall, Caulker, Lucas, Ibe, Origi, Benteke.
