The Northern Ireland defender Chris Baird says the prospect of a trip back to his homeland next week will help motivate him for Fulham's Europa League encounter at Faroese minnows NSI Runavik tonight.

Fulham have a 3-0 lead from the first leg and the winners will play Crusaders of the IFA Premiership.

"It would be nice to get back to Ireland," he said. Of the NSI match, Baird said: "It will be another tough game."
