Since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp in 2008, Borussia Dortmund have been perennial title contenders in the Bundesliga and one of Europe's best teams.
That's not been the case this season with Dortmund rock bottom in Germany's top flights after winning just three of their first 13 matches, amassing 11 points, while rivals Bayern Munich lead the division and are so far unbeaten.
Things might be better in the Champions League, where they top Arsenal's group, but Dortmund fans expect much better from their side having finished in the top two in each of the last four seasons.
As a thank you to their loyal fans, who are yet to turn on the team, the players went behind the bar at the Christmas party, pulling pints for more than 1,000 fans who turned up.
Club captain Roman Weidenfeller led the club's stars behind the bar, with the likes of Mats Hummels, Marco Reus, Ilkay Gundogan and Nevan Subotic all pouring drinks.
The players also engaged in a lengthy autograph session for the supporters.
