The Swiss side, who beat Liverpool in a crucial decider in Group B, are looking to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in their history.

Although, the omens aren’t on Basel’s side as they have never beaten a Portuguese team in this competition, drawing one and losing three times.

Porto, two-time winners of the competition, will be confident as they head to Switzerland in the knowledge they are unbeaten in the competition so far this season.

They will be relying on Jackson Martinez, the Portuguese outfit’s prized asset, to grab the goals as the Colombian striker has scored in 12 of his last 13 games in all competitions.

KICK-OFF: Wednesday 7.45pm
