Eden Hazard will miss Chelsea's Europa League clash with PAOK with an ankle injury.

The Blues are already through to the last 32 after four wins from their four games with a draw on Thursday night sealing top spot in Group L with a match to spare.

Sarri confirmed his star man will miss the clash at Stamford Bridge but should be fit for the Premier League visit of Fulham on Sunday.

"He will not be able to play tomorrow, but I think we'll be able to recover him for the next Premier League match," he said.

"I am worried because 25 days ago he had a back injury. Now an ankle. He has lost a lot of training. It's normal at the moment he isn't at the top of his physical condition."

Saturday's 3-1 loss to Tottenham ended Sarri's unbeaten start to life in English football and he wants a response.

"I want to see a reaction, but I want also to see a reaction in the next Premier League match. I want to see we learned our lessons."

The Italian confirmed he will stick with Jorginho as his central midfielder of choice and criticised N'Golo Kante, more accustomed to playing deep midfield but deployed on the right by Sarri, for his positional play in the loss at Wembley.

"I want to play a centre midfielder who is a very technical player. For me the centre midfielder is Jorginho or (Cesc) Fabregas," he added.

"I don't want Kante in this position. Kante in the last match wanted to solve the match after the first 15 minutes, but in the wrong way.

Kante came in for criticism after the game with Tottenham (Reuters)

"He lost the position, he attacked too much the other box. And I think this one is not one of the best characteristics of Kante. It was only a reaction to the difficulties.

"Kante has to stay near to Jorginho, especially when the ball is on the other side," Sarri added. "It depends on the action.

"If we are on the left, no. If the ball is on the left we have (Marcos) Alonso, (Eden) Hazard, (Mateo) Kovacic, (Ross) Barkley, so in that situation he has to stay very close to Jorginho."
