Jose Mourinho has wrung the changes for Chelsea's match with Maccabi Tel-Aviv, replacing six players from the team that lost to Everton.

The high profile casualties include John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa, who all drop to the bench.

Neither John Obi Mikel or new arrival Pedro make the bench for the opening Champions League group game.

The changes include moving Cesar Azpilicueta to right-back, bringing in Baba Rahman for his debut at left-back and reinstating Gary Cahill, who will captain the side, at centre-back.

Teenager Ruben Loftus-Cheek starts alongside the under-performing Cesc Fabregas, while Willian and Oscar both return in attacking midfield roles.

Radamel Falcao does not make the bench, with Loic Remy starting for the first time since the Community Shield.

TEAMS:

Chelsea: Begovic; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Cahill, Rahman; Loftus-Cheek, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Remy.

Subs: Blackman, Terry, Ivanovic, Ramires, Matic, Traore, Diego Costa.
