Chelsea hold the slight advantage heading into their last-16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge tonight, thanks to a goal from Branislav Ivanovic.

Jose Mourinho's team were not at their best in the Parc des Princes and in the end it took some stout resistance from John Terry and Co to keep the French side at bay, who were depleted with a number of key injuries.

The visitors look in better shape tonight than they did heading into the game in Paris, which was somewhat overshadowed by a racist incident on the Metro after the game and in London the next day.

Since the game, Laurent Blanc's team have won three and drawn one of their four games, scoring nine goals and conceding just two.

Both sides have spent huge amounts of money in recent years to reach the elite of European football, bringing in some of the best players in the world to ply their trade in west London and the French capital.

But who has spent their money more wisely?

We take a look at the two likely starting XIs and put them together to create one team.

The team has been selected based on the below predicted line-ups, in a 4-3-3/4-2-31 formation to reflect what the two managers are most likely to do.

Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Ramires, Matic, Fabregas; Willian, Hazard, Costa.

PSG: Sirigu; Van der Wiel, Silva, Marquinhos, Maxwell; Matuidi, Luiz, Verratti; Pastore, Cavani, Ibrahimovic.
