Real Madrid cruised to a 3-0 win over Almeria on Wednesday night as they closed the gap on Barcelona at the top of the table, but Cristiano Ronaldo still wasn't happy.

James Rodriguez opened the scoring at the Bernabeu with a brilliant volleyed effort before Ronaldo doubled Real's advantage after 49 minutes. With 85 minutes on the clock Alvaro Arbeloa made it 3-0 - and with it provided Ronaldo with the opportunity to show just how self obsessed he is.

Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez found space down the left and put the ball across the six-yard box. There was Ronaldo, waiting at the back post to score his 40th La Liga goal of the season (and move two ahead of great rival Lionel Messi). Only Arbeloa got there before him (pictured above) and put it into the back of the net himself.

"Nevermind, my team have just scored" would be the thought process of most footballers - and certainly team-players. Only this is Cristiano Ronaldo.

So rather than celebrate, he walloped the ball into the back of the net in frustration.

Embarrassing stuff from the reigning Ballon d'Or holder.
