Cristiano Ronaldo has highlighted one key difference between himself and Lionel Messi: the fact he’s won the Champions League with multiple clubs.
Speaking in the latest DAZN documentary ‘The Making Of’, the 33-year-old discusses the ongoing debate of who is the better player out of the two.
Ronaldo has lifted the Champions League on five separate occasions throughout his career, once with Manchester United in 2008 and four times with Real Madrid.
All of Messi’s European triumphs, four in total, have come as a Barcelona player.
“The difference with Messi is that I played for several clubs and won the Champions League with different clubs,” said Ronaldo.

“Messi is an excellent player who will be remembered not just for his Ballon d’Or wins, but also for having improved – like me – year after year.
“I wake up every morning with the idea in my head of training with the objective of achieving something more, not just to earn money.
