Gareth Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett, has denied that there is any animosity between his client and Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid.
Bale joined Real for £86m in 2013, taking over Ronaldo's mantle as the most expensive player in the world, and there has been much speculation that the pair do not see eye-to-eye.
Barnett, however, says that while the players "are complete opposites", there is no "hatred".
"They don’t go out eating every night together, but it’s fine," he told the Guardian. "There’s no hatred there.
"Gareth is a quiet guy. They’re complete opposites. But I think Gareth can learn a little bit from Ronaldo as well, interacting maybe a little bit. But he wants his own life and he lives it.”
Barnett, 65, added that Bale, who helped Wales secure Euro 2016 qualification at the weekend, is not seeking the celebrity lifestyle, and just wants to play football.
"Gareth is a great footballer, he doesn’t want anything more. “He has some very good endorsements, but his whole life is to be the best footballer in the world.
“I don’t think he wants to be the best model in the world or the best underwear seller. That’s not him.”
