Gary Neville 'happy' after Valencia win third match in a row
The Manchester United legend appears to be putting his dreadful start behind him
Gary Neville described himself as "happy" after seeing his Valencia side record their third straight win.
The former Manchester United defender oversaw a 3-0 win against Granada and his first victory away from home in La Liga on Sunday.
Asked after the match if he felt relieved, Neville said "happy" was a better way to describe his feelings.
The run of victories is going some way to putting Neville's dreadful start behind him.
The England assistant manager failed to record a victory in his first nine league games, a run that saw Valencia plummet down the table.
However, two wins in the league has seen the club edge up to 11th and progress in the Europa League looks assured after they thrashed Rapid Vienna 6-0 in the first-leg of their Round of 32 tie.
"The dressing room has changed significantly," said Neville since they picked up their first league win under his guidance.
However, he warned: "This is not a time to get carried away after three wins. We have to be winning all the time."
