Jose Mourinho has been in contact with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to tell him he has no interest in a return to the Bernabeu, according to reports in Spain.

Mourinho has been linked with a return to Los Blancos after he was sacked by Chelsea earlier this month.

Current manager Rafa Benitez is under hige pressure with Real two points off leaders Barcelona having played a game more.

Barcelona dominated Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in November, winning 4-0, and Benitez has been on the wrong side of the fans ever since - he was booed as his name was read out ahead of the 3-1 win against Real Sociedad on Wednesday night.

Mourinho has been linked with a return to the club, as well as taking over from Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.

However, according to Spanish newspaper Diario Sport, the Portuguese has already told Perez that he has no interest in a second spell at the club.

The paper cite 'family' as being the main reason for Mourinho's rejection, with his teenage children settled in London; Jose Jr currently plays in goal for Fulham Under-16s.

Mourinho has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Roma, but is believed to prefer to stay in the Premier League.

The Portuguese won a title and a Copa Del Rey in three years in charge of Real Madrid.
