Thierry Henry wants Bordeaux manager's job reveals Arsene Wenger
Wenger, who managed him at Arsenal, says Henry has what it takes to succeed in management
Thierry Henry is interested in taking over at Bordeaux according his former boss, Arsene Wenger.
The Ligue 1 side suspended manager Gus Poyet last week for his comments on the club's transfer dealings after the sale of striker Gaetan Laborde to Montpellier.
Wenger, who left Arsenal earlier this summer after 22 years, says Henry has what it takes to succeed in management.
"Yes, he (Henry) wants to do it, he is intelligent and he has the qualities," he told Corsican newspaper Corse Matin.
"The existential question that we always ask ourselves is whether we are ready to sacrifice our life for the coaching profession.
"Being passionate is selfish work. When you are passionate, you steal your time from those whom you love and to whom you could have given much more."

Henry, who played under Wenger at the north London club, became assistant coach of World Cup semi-finalists Belgium in 2016.
The Frenchman recently stepped down from his role with Sky Sports to pursue an opportunity in management full-time and was linked with the Aston Villa job ahead of the new season.
