Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola is wanted by almost every club in Europe.

The former Barcelona manager has enjoyed almost unbridled success since arriving in Germany, winning the double last season and losing just two of his 28 Bundesliga matches so far this year, with the club building a 10-point gap with just six games left.

With Bayern preparing to face Portuguese champions Porto in the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night, club director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has sung the Spaniard's praises.

"The coach is the key to everything," said the former West Germany striker who was on the losing side in a World Cup final twice.

"He doesn’t just have a plan A, B or C, he has the whole alphabet from top to bottom. At the moment I don’t think opposing coaches know what tactics Pep Guardiola is going to use.

"Actually, when I go to the stadium, I sometimes don’t know either. Time and time again, I’m totally captivated and positively surprised at all the things that occur to him."
