Serie A players have indicated that they could go on strike this month after a dispute over their rights resurfaced.
The players' union AIC said the league had still not signed the agreement reached last year after fraught negotiations, when strikes were just averted.
"The collective contract must be signed... before the start of the [season]. There is unity among the players," said Damiano Tommasi, AIC's new head.
