Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been ruled out of Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League quarter-final second-leg tie against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge next week after suffering a hamstring injury in the club's 3-1 first-leg victory in Paris on Wednesday night.

The mercurial Swede pulled up with the hamstring problem while charging forward and was forced off to replaced by Lucas Moura in the 68th minute. PSG's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi confirmed after the match at the Parc des Princes that the former Milan, Internazionale and Barcelona striker would not be ready to play again next Wednesday.

"Ibrahimovic picked up an injury. He will be out for a few weeks," Al-Khleaifi revealed to beIn Sport.

The PSG head coach, Laurent Blanc, added: "It's a muscular problem - we'll have to look after that but it will require a certain amount of rest."
