Spain and Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has won a lot of football matches in a superb career.

Loved by team-mates, hated by opponents and underrated by supporters, the 27-year-old has now revealed that he actually prefers football to sex.

Let that sink in for a moment.

"In football, happiness lasts three or four days," he told Spanish TV show El Hormiguero. "Sex, on the other hand, can last just one minute."

Busquets has been a key member of the Barcelona team that won five La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey three times, and three Champions League titles.

He also won the World Cup in 2010 and the 2012 Euros.

"After a bad game you just go home, shut the door and you don't want to go out for three or four days," added Busquets. "Fans don't insult you after a bad day, but many of them remind you it was not your best one."
