TNS target Millennium date with City

The Jubilant TNS owner, Mike Harris, is hoping to entertain Manchester City at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

The little Welsh club, based in Llansantffraid, landed the money-spinning Uefa Cup tie when the qualifying round draw was made yesterday. City will host the first leg at their new stadium on 14 August - it will be their first competitive game there - four days after facing Barcelona in a friendly.

Harris has big plans for the return leg two weeks later, knowing their Recreation Park ground would not be able to cope. TNS will have to move to a larger arena, possibly Wrexham's Racecourse Ground or the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.

"This is fantastic, the best draw we could possibly have had," he said. "I am confident we can go up to Manchester and get a good result and then really put the pressure on them in the second leg. If we get the right result I will be looking to relocate the game to the Millennium Stadium - why not?".

Dundee could face a daunting trip to Albania as they return to European competition after a 29-year absence.
