Lucas Moura on Champions League final disappointment

Last season, Tottenham Hotspur came agonisingly close to lifting their first trophy in 11 years, and a victory over Liverpool might well have marked the greatest moment in the club’s history.

But a 2-0 defeat in the Champions League final at the Wanda Metropolitano broke the hearts of Spurs fans, who now have to motivate themselves to go through the journey again.

That journey begins on Thursday 29th August in Monaco, when the group stage draw for the competition takes place at 5pm BST.

Which teams would make up the easiest possible group for Tottenham, and which would present the toughest tests?

See the above gallery for Tottenham’s best and worst case scenarios in Thursday’s draw from Monaco.
