Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a tough test in the Europa League round-of-16 and drawn against Borussia Dortmund.

Mauricio Pochettino's side will travel to face the Bundesliga side in the first leg before entertaining them at White Hart Lane in the second.

Tottenham overcame tricky Serie A side Fiorentina over two legs in the round-of-32, claiming a 4-1 victory over two legs.

Strikes from Ryan Mason, Erik Lamela and an own goal by Gonzalo Rodriguez gave Spurs a 3-0 home win, which followed a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Stadio Artemio Franchi a week earlier.

Dele Alli will be suspended for the first leg after receiving a yellow card for diving in the second leg. Thursday's booking followed one in Florence, which he received for kicking out at defender Nenad Tomovic.

The first leg at Signal Iduna Park will be played on Thursday 10 March. The second leg, at White Hart Lane, will follow a week later on Thursday 17 March.
