Millwall's home woes continue

Millwall 1 Ipswich Town

Andy Sims

Tamas Priskin and Gareth McAuley fired Ipswich into the fourth round as Millwall's home jitters struck again. The Lions were unbeaten in 22 games at The Den until Saturday's 6-1 mauling by Watford, then Roy Keane's side condemned them to back-to-back losses on their own turf for the first time in 18 months.

Priskin struck his third goal of the season in the 23rd minute, Andros Townsend crossing for the Hungarian striker to loop a header over keeper David Forde and into the net. Defender McAuley doubled the lead before the break. Steve Morison pulled one back in the second half. "It was a pity we couldn't score in the second half to kill the game off," said Keane, "but there was nothing but plusses tonight."
