Poor old Alan Pardew, even after winning he's still despised by most Newcastle supporters, and it seems his backroom staff are in no rush to join him in celebration either.

Here he is going for a high five after Newcastle's second goal in the 2-0 win League Cup win over Manchester City last night (below), but is left hanging.

After noticing he is alone holding his right hand up, Pardew tries to style it out.

Newcastle won the match thanks to goals from Rolando Aarons and Moussa Sissoko.

Pardew said after last night's win: "It's a marvellous performance from Newcastle. Everything we wanted and tried to get from the game came off. We always carried a threat even from the first minute."
