Huddersfield Town's Adam Clayton dyes beard blue and white for charity
The winner of the best (or worst depending on your perspective) beard of the year award definitely goes to Huddersfield Town midfielder Adam Clayton.
The Manchester born man sported a rather fetching blue and white stripped beard for Town’s home clash against Championship leaders Leicester on Saturday.
The ‘Bearded Wonder’, as christened by the home faithful, dyed his facial hair after raising over £1000 for charity with the beard perfectly matching Huddersfield’s kit colours.
The 25-year-old struggled to get the desired pattern on his famous facial fuzz but tweeted the day before their game: “Last resort and spray paint hahaha ! If not it will have to come off ! But were guna give it another go ! Thanks for all donations guys xxx”
Clayton was named the Blue and White Foundation’s Player of the Season for the 2013/14 season by their members and what better way to celebrate then a bit of a makeover.
