A fine individual display from Chris Eagles inspired Bolton to a 2-1 victory over neighbours Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

Kevin Davies struck after 93 seconds against his former club in a first half dominated by Wanderers. Bolton made it two when Paul Robinson turned Eagles' 61st-minute free-kick against the post to leave Lee Chung-yong with a tap-in. Jordan Rhodes headed in a late consolation for Rovers.
