Peterborough United have parted company with manager Darren Ferguson, according to the BBC.
The 37-year-old Scot led Posh to back-to-back promotions from League Two to the Championship after taking over in January 2007. But the London Road club have struggled in their first season back in the second tier and are bottom after winning just two games. Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Newcastle United was their third loss in a row.
