Millwall's Harris back after cancer treatment

Neil Harris will make his comeback for Millwall against Barnsley tonight after undergoing radiotherapy treatment to combat testicular cancer. The 24-year-old striker has returned to action three months ahead of schedule.

Millwall's manager, Mark McGhee, said of the prolific goalscorer: "There has been no stopping him since he was given the all-clear to start training."

Barnsley are expected to stick with the side that beat Crewe Alexandra.

Lee Briscoe is hoping for a place in Burnley's starting line-up against Birmingham City. The former Sheffield Wednesday player scored twice in four minutes to ensure victory over Walsall on Saturday and cement their place at the top of the table. "It didn't surprise me. Lee's a Premiership player," said Burnley's manager, Stan Ternent.

The South African international Pierre Issa could make his debut for Watford against Norwich City after signing from Marseilles. The defender has been concentrating on his fitness since his arrival last week.

Watford's manager, Gianluca Vialli, is hoping his players will overcome their recent reticence and start taking some chances.

David Moyes, Preston's manager, has extended Kevin Gallacher's contract by a month. The former Scotland striker is doubtful for the match against West Bromwich Albion as he has a hamstring strain.
