Solskjaer to stay in Norway
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to reject advances from Bolton Wanderers about becoming their new manager, while Portsmouth's Michael Appleton has held relaxed talks with the club.
The Trotters sacked Owen Coyle earlier this week and the Molde manager pulled out of speaking at the Leaders in Football conference on Thursday, citing illness, leading to speculation he was meeting the Bolton chairman, Phil Gartside.
But a desire to win the Norwegian title for a second successive year and qualify for the Champions League mean Solskjaer will not move to Lancashire.
