West Ham chairman David Sullivan dismissed Tony Fernandes's bid to buy the club as derisory.

Fernandes, the businessman behind AirAsia and Lotus Formula One team, said he had made an offer. But Sullivan said: "Tony Fernandes wanted to buy 51 per cent of the club for two bob. He thinks we are desperate for the small amount of money he offered."
