The text messages allegedly sent between a female prostute and Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea have been published by media in Spain a day after it was claimed that the Manchester United star arranged a meeting between two footballers and two women, at which one of whom alleges that the girls were sexually assaulted. The Independent has not independently verified the texts.

De Gea, 25, has denied all allegations of wrongdoing and labelled the claims, which were made by a protected witness known only as TP3 in a Spanish court, “a lie”. De Gea will remain with the Spain squad for Euro 2016 despite the allegations emerging on the day the tournament began, and after the footballer held a press conference to deny the claims, the alleged text messages between De Gea and TP3 have been published in Spain.

According to Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, De Gea conversation with TP3 alleges that the goalkeeper tried to set-up a meeting between the prostitute and five of his team-mates at Manchester United, with the information reportedly appearing in an online internal police file.

El Confidencial republished sections of the test messages, and included a transcript which referred to the witness as TP3 and De Gea as DG.

The transcript read:

TP3: “And Manchester?”

TP3: “He has mentioned it to me.”

TP3: “It's true.”

TP3: “?”

DG: “Yes, it's true ha-ha”

TP3: “You're naughty.”

DG: “No, I'm doing it for my teammates woman, ha-ha.”

TP3: “What's your team?”

TP3: “Atleti?”

DG: “Manchester.”

DG: “No”

TP3: “I'm lost.”

TP3: “When it comes to those sorts of things.”

DG: “I can see.”

TP3: “Ha-ha.”

TP3: “Do any of your teammates like me”

TP3: “??”

TP3: “Apart from you of course.”

TP3: “Ha-ha.”

DG: “Will you be able to cope with all of them?”

TP3: “How many are there.”

TP3: “??”

DG: “About five with me.”

TP3: “Of course.”

DG: “I'm not so sure, ha-ha.”

De Gea was implicated in a Spanish sexual assault case against porn produced Ignacio Allende Fernandez, better known as Torbe, where it was claimed that De Gea organised a meeting with Torbe in 2012 that resulted in one of the two women alleging that they were both sexually assaulted by Athletic Bilbao footballer Iker Muniain and one other unnamed footballer reported in Spain to be Real Madrid’s Isco.

De Gea, Muniain and Isco have vehemently denied the allegations, and the Daily Mail reports that sources close to De Gea claim that the text messages are not his.

"No one is more surprised by this news than me” De Gea said in a press conference on Friday. “It is a lie, completely false." Asked about rumours who would be leaving Euro 2016 before Spain's first game he said: "I have never considered leaving the squad.

“This does not affect me. I am very relaxed and I just want to go out and play. Very few things affect me and when it is something that is completely untrue then that is even more the case. I was on the Playstation when I was first informed. The first thing I did was inform my family that this is completely false. They already knew that.”

23-year-old midfielder Muniain released a statement on Twitter which read: "In the light of the information that appeared today concerning myself I want to emphasise that: 1. The version of events is absolutely false.

"2. In the coming days I will appoint a lawyer to defend my honour. 3. I hope all my followers who have supported me on the pitch trust me at this time."

Despite not being identified in the court case, Real and Spain midfielder Isco issued a statement on Friday to deny any knowledge of the events and labelled the allegations linking him to the meeting “untrue”.

"I want to make clear that any relation of mine with the supposed events is completely untrue," Isco in a statement.

"I have absolutely no knowledge of these events and have never known of them.

"With that in mind I have instructed my lawyers to take the necessary legal measures to make it certain that the appearance of my name in this case is a serious error and grave injustice."

Spain manager Vincente del Bosque offered De Gea his and the national team’s complete support with the matter, which De Gea dded is now being handled by his lawyers.

“I think De Gea has given all the explanations he had to give and he has made it clear that he has nothing to do with this issue,” said Del Bosque.

“He said that to the whole squad too. We all met up and the lad, calmly and sincerely, has explained that he has nothing to do with this issue.

“The squad is here to support him at all times and to give him the affection he needs at these times. Everything is normal and we’ll carry on.”

The Spanish head coach added: “We have never considered [sending De Gea home]. This was a surprise for us. We waited for the lad's explanations. It seems that he has done nothing and I have to believe him.”
