Trent Alexander-Arnold invited to train with England camp ahead of Netherlands and Italy friendlies
The 19-year-old right-back won't be included in Gareth Southgate's squad for the two fixtures, but joined up for training at St George's Park
Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been invited to train with the England senior squad ahead of the side's international friendlies against the Netherlands and Italy.
The 19-year-old right-back won't be included in Gareth Southgate's squad for the two fixtures, but joined up for training at St George's Park.
Southgate has three options at right-back for England's coming games. They are: Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker and Joe Gomez.
Alexander-Arnold has, though, been named in Aidy Boothroyd's latest U21 side for the Cyrille Regis international against Romania and the European Championships Qualifier with Ukraine.
The youngster has risen to prominence at Liverpool this season, having made 13 Premier League appearances for the side.
