A poor evening from the Three Lions but probably about right an the whole. England picked up four yellow cards which shows the level of competition on the pitch but it was Joe Hart who made sure they left Ljubljana (nailed the spelling again) with what could be a precious point. Southgate proved he could make the hard calls by dropping Rooney but a flat performance will do him more harm than good when it comes to the next permanent England manager.
