England vs Norway was never likely to get the pulse racing, but at least James Milner was good enough to provide some light relief.

The Manchester City midfielder, who came on as a second half substitute, made what some are describing as the worst pass seen in an England shirt.

Picking the ball up in midfield, Milner spotted John Stones available on the wing.

Yet, despite being under absolutely no pressure whatsoever, rather than picking out the Everton defender he sliced it off towards the stands. Even Milner himself appeared to turn away in disgust.

Whilst the top brass at the FA will be lamenting a half-full Wembley for last night's match, at least Milner will have been pleased.
