A late Robbie Keane goal has given Ireland a vital point in their World Cup Group E game against Germany.

Ireland had fallen behind to a Miroslav Klose header after just 19 minutes and were unable to create many clear opportunities in the first-half.

However, after the break the Irish threatened the German goal on several occasions, before Keane ran onto a Niall Quinn header with just a few seconds left and drove home from close-range.
