Gareth Barry has admitted his frustration that his England career appears to be over.
The Manchester City midfielder, above, has not been in a Roy Hodgson squad since Euro 2012 and was left out for this week's friendlies with Ireland and Brazil.
"I haven't been given an explanation, but I'm pretty relaxed on that," said Barry, who has 53 caps and made his debut in 2000. "It's been quite frustrating because I have been playing some of the best football of my career, and you don't get the call. I am not one who calls managers to ask for a reason. It's their opinion, and once their mind is made up, that's fine."
