Spain fought back from two goals down to draw against Costa Rica in their friendly in San Jose last night.

It looked as if the 5,000-mile round trip by Vicente del Bosque's men was to be in vain when they fell behind to goals from Randall Brenes and Arsenal's Joel Campbell. But David Silva pulled one back in the 83rd minute before David Villa earned a draw in stoppage time.
