Guardiola: "I will absolutely be judged" by UCL record at Man City

Manchester City continue their pursuit of an elusive Champions League crown with the second leg of a last-16 encounter with RB Leipzig.

The first half of the tie ended 1-1 after Josko Gvardiol answered Riyad Mahrez’s first-half opener.

Pep Guardiola’s side dominated possession during their away leg, and will be hopeful of better converting their dominance of the ball into a more productive attacking output.

They wil be wary of a talented Leipzig side, though, who will arrive at the Etihad Stadium with plenty of varied forward threat.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the second leg.

Team news

Pep Guardiola is believed to have few major injury concerns ahead of the second leg after Phil Foden overcame a foot injury to start against Crystal Palace. Both Riyad Mahrez and Kevin De Bruyne are in line to return to the starting side having missed out on the Selhurst Park win, while Kyle Walker may also be promoted from the bench.

RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku has suffered another injury blow, with the Frenchman absent for the 3-0 weekend win against Borussia Monchengladbach. Illness also struck Marco Rose’s side ahead of that fixture, but all of Timo Werner, Konrad Laimer, Dominik Szoboszlai and Lukas Klostermann were named in the matchday squad.
