A team made up of Manchester United legends were well beaten by the non-league side they own.
The Independent's new columnist Paul Scholes joined Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt and Gary and Phil Neville for a friendly against non-league side Salford City.
A number of former Manchester United players, as well as celebrities, joined the 'Class of 92 (minus David Beckham) for the friendly at the AJ Bell stadium.
Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan and comedian Jack Whitehall made an appearance, as did Robbie Savage, Mickael Silvestre, Quinton Fortune and Raimond van der Gouw.
However, unlike their playing days the Manchester United legends didn't have it all their own way.
Ryan Giggs might have scored a nice dinked penalty but Salford City dominated, running in five goals in a rout.
