The Premier League is not joining up with the WWE for 'scripted' matches in the US after the success of WrestleMania.

Harry Kane on the verge of joining Arsenal

Harry Kane was reported to be close to becoming an Arsenal player after Tottenham accepted £50 million plus Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck, according to the Sports Journalists' Association.

A source told the SJA: “We are confident we can pull this off. Harry would be coming home. He was an Arsenal youth player, has red and white blood and we taught him all he knows. We know that Chelsea are interested, but Harry is a genuine Gooner. He belongs with us.”

Arsenal and Chelsea join forces to commission 'half-half' Ashley Cole statue

Arsenal and Chelsea may be rivals on the pitch but the achievements of one man have led to a unique collaboration off it, the Evening Standard reported.

The report claimed that Ashley Cole, who spent eight successful years with the Gunners before departing amicably for Stamford Bridge in 2006, was to receive the unprecedented honour of being jointly commemorated by two clubs.

The statue, said to be designed by award-winning Norwegian sculptor Olaf Lipro was apparently inspired by the 'half half' scarf, with Cole wearing half an Arsenal kit and half a Chelsea kit.

Arsenal and Puma unveil world's first left-footed football

Arsenal and kit manufacturers Puma 'unveiled' a world first this morning, on 1 April: a special left-footed football known as the Left-Footed evoPOWER Football.

Puma said the ball had been exclusively designed for Arsenal, and will "increase the accuracy, power and precision of a left-footed player".

Santi Cazorla, Mesut Özil, Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin, were the first players to 'test' the new football.

"It’s unbelievable!" said the two-footed Cazorla.

FIFA president Sepp Blatter threatened to get into another war of words with his UEFA counterpart Michel Platini by inviting Qatar to play at Euro 2020, according to The Telegraph.

Roy Hodgson was reportedly happy with the idea and said it would give England the opportunity to check out "the heat and the sand".

Revealed: Arsenal v. Liverpool will be first Premier League match to show teamtalks on TV

The Daily Mail claimed that Arsenal and Liverpool will allow television cameras into the team dressing rooms at the Emirates on Saturday.

The cameras would apparently be allowed to film the teamtalks given by Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers to be streamed to millions around the world ahead of the lunchtime kick-off.

Chris Robshaw is the new face of BMW

England rugby captain Chris Robshaw was revealed as the new face of BMW and celebrated the announcement by wearing a personalised mouth guard.

BMW said: "On average, rugby international Chris Robshaw makes approximately 18 tackles per match. With this in mind, BMW has developed the RU Series – a new line of mouth guards offering players the same impact protection as our drivers."
