Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard eats more than his Belgian team-mates Romelu Lukaku and Christian Benteke
The Belgium team chef has revealed that despite standing at just 5ft 8in, Hazard is the greediest member of the squad when it comes to the dinner table

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard may be one of the most nimble players in the Premier League, but that doesn’t stop him from tucking in to his grub – according to the Belgian national team chef.
Wym Casteleyn even claims that the 5ft 8in star eats more than both Romelu Lukaku and Christian Benteke, two bulky strikers with an appetite for goals that compares with Hazard’s desire for food.
Speaking to The Sun,Casteleyn said: “It’s not necessarily the biggest lads who eat the most.
“Eden Hazard is the greediest member of Belgium’s current squad.
“Romelu Lukaku, who is very sturdily built, takes great care about what he eats. He’ll have a lot of fruit and pasta.”
However, while whatever Hazard is doing appears to be working, he has found himself in trouble in the past for his appetite.
He was given a three-match ban by former Belgium manager Georges Leekens for tucking into a burger while a game he had been substituted in was still in progress.
Having been hauled off on the hour mark during a 2012 European Championship qualifier, Hazard couldn’t wait to satisfy his appetite any longer, although he quickly learnt his lesson to wait until the game is over before heading off for his dinner.
