The annual curtain raiser to the season sees FA Cup winners Arsenal take on the Premier League champions Manchester City at Wembley Stadium.

For Arsenal, new signings Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers could all start.

For Manchester City, Frank Lampard will not make his City debut this weekend after his completing his loan move from Chelsea.

Aaron Ramsey, who scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final for Arsenal against Hull, says that the Gunners will be treating it like the first game of the league season.

"We are going to approach it as if we were approaching the first game of the Premier League," he said. "It's a big game for us and we are going to treat it like that."

It will be Arsenal’s first Community Shield appearance since 2005.
