Chelsea forward Didier Drogba was today cautioned for allegedly throwing a coin at Burnley fans during a game.
The 30-year-old striker appeared at a police station in London yesterday, where he received a caution for common assault.
He allegedly threw the coin at Burnley fans after one or more coins or other objects was thrown at him during the Carling Cup game at Stamford Bridge in November.
The incident took place after Drogba scored what was his first goal of the season, nearly half an hour into the game.
