Fifa whistleblower Blazer steps down

Concacaf general secretary, Chuck Blazer, a whistleblower in the recent corruption scandal in the Caribbean that engulfed Fifa in controversy and led to the resignation of Concacaf president Jack Warner and banning of Fifa presidential candidate Mohammed Bin Hammam, has decided to leave his post at the end of the year.

However, the 66-year-old American will retain his seat on Fifa's decision-making Executive Committee.
