Football news: Dangote denies interest in Arsenal
Nigeria's richest man, Aliko Dangote has dismissed reports he is going to purchase Nina Bracewell-Smith's 16 per cent stake in the club. "I can say categorically at this time that I have no intention of investing in the club," he said.

Manager Owen Coyle has revealed he will not make an offer for Hull City's Jimmy Bullard. The 31-year-old midfielder seems destined to leave the relegated Tigers this summer. "Jimmy is a great player, but he is not on our radar," said Coyle.
Stoke City
The chairman Peter Coates has said the club are in no rush to offer new contracts, after Ricardo Fuller and Matthew Etherington both recently expressed a desire for new deals. "They have two years left of their present contracts," Coates said. "There's no pressure for us [to extend them]."
Liverpool
The manager Rafa Benitez has rejected claims he has been offered a lucrative deal to quit the Reds and manage the UAE national team. "I was surprised to read about this story," he said. "I'm happy here and want to stay."
Tottenham
The striker Robbie Keane will return to Spurs after spending the second half of last season on-loan at Celtic, but admits he will have to work hard to force his way into the side. "It's up to me now to go back to Tottenham and get myself in the team," Keane, 29, said.
Dundee United
Peter Houston is expected to be named as the Terrors' permanent manager in a press conference today. The 51-year-old replaced Craig Levein on a temporary basis last December and successfully guided the team to Scottish Cup success. Houston is set to sign a three-year deal at Tannadice.
