Proposals to bring back standing areas at football grounds have been criticised by the Hillsborough Family Support Group.

An online petition has called for the return of standing areas, unseen in the top flight since Fulham removed theirs in 2002.

"We are absolutely against it and always will be," Margaret Aspinall, chair of the group, said. "We will not be encouraging the Government to change the law."
