Jack Wilshere was in understandably high spirits during Arsenal's victory parade yesterday and was unable to resist taunting the club's eternal rivals Tottenham.

The England midfielder, an extra-time substitute in the Gunners' 3-2 win, led the assembled fans in singing the club's famous Tottenham-goading chant.

Grabbing the microphone, Wilshere shouted: "What do we think of Tottenham?"

"S***" came the reply from the fans below.

"What do we think of s***?" Wilshere replied. "Tottenham!" they said.

Sky Sports, who aired the whole exchange, were forced into a hasty apology.

Wilshere wasn't the only one to win over the crowd with an impromptu turn on the mic, Per Mertesacker launched into an enthusiastic rendition of the less expletive-laden chant 'Arsenal till I die', cementing his status as something of a cult hero with the fans.
