Liverpool legend Luis Garcia has apologised for spoiling the finale of Game of Thrones for his 260k Twitter followers.

The 2005 Champions League-winning playmaker tweeted on Monday some of the plotline involving the popular show's character Jon Snow.

His followers were not happy...

Garcia then felt compelled to say sorry...

The 36-year-old Luis Garcia, who spent three seasons at Anfield between 2004 and 2007, is now retired, so he has plenty of time to catch up on the gripping Sky Atlantic drama.

Luis Garcia was an integral part of the Liverpool side who won Europe's elite competition in 2005, starring in the dramatic final victory over AC Milan in Istanbul after the Reds came back from three-nill down to win on penalties.
