Marlon King quizzed over 'bar assault'
Premier League striker Marlon King has been arrested after being accused of assaulting a woman in a bar.
King, who plays for Hull City, was arrested yesterday when he voluntarily attended a police station after the incident in central London on Sunday.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed officers from Westminster CID were investigating an allegation of assault on a 20-year-old woman at the Soho Revue Bar in Brewer Street.
He said: "A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. He has been bailed to return on a date in February."
The striker, who is on loan from Wigan Athletic, has played 15 times for Hull in the Premiership.
On Saturday he scored the winner in Hull's 2-1 home win over Middlesbrough.
A spokesman for Hull City refused to comment.
