Nigel Pearson – and the weirdest press conferences in sport
The Leicester manager snapped last night - but he wasn't the first to raise eyebrows when talking to the press

Nigel Pearson had just seen his Leicester side lose 3-1 to Chelsea, so it was understandable that he was in a prickly mood.
But no-one could have predicted the bizarre exchange he entered with a journalist over supposed criticism of his players.
After Pearson spoke of “the amount of criticism and negativity [his players] have had to endure over the course of the season”, the journalist asked him to specify what criticism, sparking the extraordinary exchange.
The best sentence Pearson used was undoubtedly: "If you don’t know the answer to that question then I think you are an ostrich." Read the full transcript here.
