Sunderland will be looking to continue their recent run of good form when they take on Stoke at home on Wednesday.

After knocking Manchester United out of the League Cup last week, Sunderland have started a stirring comeback that could ensure their survival in the Premier League this season. Despite having the lowest number of points in the league, along with Cardiff and West Ham, Sunderland have won five out of their last six games in all competitions. As well as beating Man Utd in the League Cup, Sunderland have also beaten Man City and Chelsea in the Premier League. Stoke are currently four points clear of the relegation zone and have only secured victory in one of their last 6 matches. Stoke’s last away win in the Premier League came back in August last year, so will be hoping to break the long running streak when they travel to the Stadium of Light.
